A structured statement jacket built entirely around a single sweeping work of original art. Deep indigo ink washes bleed into onyx black, giving rise to an abstracted orchid form that fractures into gestural petals of brushed metallic gold. The composition begins at the nape, cascades across the back panel, and curls forward onto the left lapel as though the flower is caught mid-bloom in motion. This is not a print applied to a jacket — the tailoring itself was engineered to let the artwork breathe: a nipped waist, sculpted shoulder, and asymmetric lapel that follows the curve of the petals rather than a straight seam. Worn closed or open, the piece reveals a new fragment of the composition, rewarding a second and third look the way a gallery painting does.
